Announcing the Launch of the Interdisciplinary Journal of Arts, Music and Education
The Interdisciplinary Journal of Arts, Music and Education (IJAME) is a new open-access, peer-reviewed journal published by the Asociación Española de Musicoterapia y Desarrollo de la Salud Mental (AEMDSM), Madrid, Spain.
About the Journal
IJAME is a quarterly journal publishing original research, reviews, case studies, and innovative practice reports at the intersection of arts, music, therapy, and education. We are committed to advancing scholarship that explores how music and the arts contribute to mental health, well-being, and educational development.
Publication Schedule
The journal publishes four issues per year, on the following dates:

Issue 4: December 10
Articles are published online immediately upon acceptance and compiled into the corresponding issue on the scheduled publication date.
Call for Submissions – December 2026 Issue
We are now accepting submissions for our inaugural issue, scheduled for publication on March 10, 2026.
We welcome contributions on topics including but not limited to:

Submission Guidelines

All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process.

There are no submission fees.

An Article Processing Charge (APC) of €120 applies to accepted articles.
